The Sacred Mandala is a teaching module operating under the auspices of LightWeavings, Inc. The Sacred Mandala serves youth and adult learners by providing hands- on experience with Sacred Geometry and the patterns found in nature.
One of the seminars offered is "An Encounter With Beauty: Discovering the Mandala through the Geometry of Life". Participants are led through an exercise of drawing geometric grids (utilizing two circles as the "genesis" of pattern) and printing over these patterns with stamps derived from vegetation found in nature. This approach to pattern making fosters an increased dialogue between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. These exercises are a tool to assist individuals in reconnecting with creativity that produces inner and outer beauty mediated by the eye, hand, body, heart, and mind. Participants gain direct experience of The Geometry of Life/Sacred Geometry and insight into the nature of the Mandala.
